Can peers run self-help groups?
- Absolutely! If desired by the managing clinician all peers are experienced and qualified to organize and lead group meetings.
Are you self reporting?
- Yes, we must follow all guidelines as provided by New York State mental health laws.
Where do you meet clients?
- Wherever is convenient for the client in a public setting. We meet clients at businesses, meetings, groups, appointments etc.
Are all employees licensed?
- All employees of Clinician Support Services are CRPA or CASAC certified.
Does insurance cover peer support services?
- Peer services are covered by Medicaid and Medicare. They are also covered by most insurance companies although this differs depending on specific plans.
What if I don’t have insurance?
- In cases where no insurance is available of insurance does not cover the services we do except monetary payment. Prices for services are covered during initial consultation.
